INAUGURATION OF THE HOUSE SYSTEM OF THE PRIMARY SECTION

The 10th July is an auspicious day for the Primary children as they had the inauguration of their House System at 11.30 am in the school hall. Fr. Godfrey D'Souza the Rector, Fr. Crispino D'Souza the Principal and Mrs. Dorothy Dias solemnly walked in with the youngsters clapping and cheering their entry.

The young lads looked smart in their suits marching along as Captain, Vice Captain and leaders and Prefects of various classes with their respective teachers of the various houses.

The ceremony was indeed very impressive for these young lads and they did very well in conducting the Inauguration of the House System. A word of congratulations goes out to the Supervisor and the teachers for training the students.

The Leaders then took the oath and promise to be leaders in their own right and to assist and help in the smooth running and functioning of the school. It was truly magical to see these young lads make their promise. The future of a country is in the hands of these young lads as the saying goes.

A song to give lift up our spirits and call on the Almighty

Fr. Principal was then invited to the stage to say a few words and then declare the House System open for the year 2010-2011. Fr. Crispino encouraged the young leaders to take responsibility and be leaders to the others in their class and primary section.

A song with a message

To wind up the young lads sang the latest song of the 'Waving Flags' with a lot of spirit and zest while waving their coloured flags during the entire song. It gave one the much needed idea of freedom and unity in diversity.
